JIMEIDA 2 Pack Double Switched Socket Black 20W Fast Charging 13 Amp with USB A and Type C Charging Ports Crystal Glass Panel Wall Outlet

The JIMEIDA 5 Pack Double Switched Socket with USB A and Type C Charging Ports offers a convenient and stylish solution for charging devices while also providing traditional power outlets. However, there are some notable issues with this product that may affect customer satisfaction. One common complaint is the faulty earth connectivity in the delivered sockets. Customers have reported that the earth pin only has continuity to the earth connection on one side, resulting in one of the sockets not having a connection to earth. This could be a potential safety concern and may cause the sockets to fail an electrical test. Another issue mentioned by customers is the difficulty of attaching and detaching the clip-on covers. Some users have found it challenging to remove the covers, which could be inconvenient for those who need to access the sockets frequently. Additionally, several customers have reported that the C USB ports did not work on any of the five sockets, while the normal USB ports functioned properly. This suggests a potential quality issue or defect with the C USB charging functionality. Lack of instructions provided with the product is another point of criticism. Customers have mentioned that they installed the sockets as standard without any guidance, which may lead to improper installation and potential safety hazards. On a positive note, customers have praised the product for its perfect fit into old back boxes, indicating that the physical design of the sockets is suitable for retrofitting existing installations. In conclusion, while the JIMEIDA 5 Pack Double Switched Socket with USB A and Type C Charging Ports may offer a convenient charging solution, it has significant drawbacks that affect its overall reliability and functionality. The faulty earth connectivity, difficulty with the clip-on covers, non-working C USB ports, and lack of instructions are all points of concern for potential buyers.
