PRODUCTBESCHRIJVING
Roosebeck Mountain Dulcimer 4 String, Cutaway Upper Bout, F-Hole Openings, Scrolled Pegbox
About This Item
Discover the versatility of the Roosebeck DMCRT4 4-String Cutaway Mountain Dulcimer. This unique instrument allows you to play in both the traditional lap position and as a guitar, thanks to its narrow cutaway design. So whether you're a seasoned dulcimer player or coming from a guitar background, this dulcimer is perfect for you. The inverted fingerings on this cutaway dulcimer make it easier for guitar players to transition while still producing the rich, full sound of a mountain dulcimer.
When you want to play in a traditional style, simply lay it flat and enjoy the same beautiful sound that a traditional mountain dulcimer offers. Crafted with high-quality materials, the Roosebeck DMCRT4 features a solid spruce soundboard with three F-hole openings, giving it a unique and visually appealing look. The back, sides, and fretboard are made from rosewood, adding to the instrument's durability and aesthetic appeal. The fretboard of the DMCRT4 has arches underneath, allowing for free space between the soundboard and the fretboard, resulting in enhanced resonance and projection. The carved scroll peghead showcases banjo-style tuners with a 4:1 gear ratio, ensuring smooth and precise tuning. Included with the Roosebeck DMCRT4 are a pick and noter, providing everything you need to start playing right away.
Please note that while the strings on the instrument are playable, we recommend replacing them for improved playability, sound quality, and better tuning. We highly recommend using Roosebeck branded strings for the best results. Experience the best of both worlds with the Roosebeck DMCRT4 4-String Cutaway Mountain Dulcimer. Perfect for guitar players looking to explore the world of dulcimer playing or dulcimer enthusiasts seeking a versatile instrument.
Don't miss out on this unique dulcimer with a cutaway design, F-hole openings, and a scrolled pegbox. Order yours today and dive into the rich, melodic world of the mountain dulcimer.
