While some find it to be a functional and well-built tool, others have expressed disappointment with its performance in certain tasks. One customer mentioned that the multitool is not a replacement for proper tools but finds it okay overall. Another customer was pleasantly surprised by the tool's functionality in outdoor environments, stating that it is better in reality than in the pictures. However, there were complaints about the multitool's ability to open boxes. One customer found it difficult to use as a box opener, particularly with regular or Amazon-style tape. Despite this, they acknowledged the solid Construction and excellent build quality of the tool. Another customer expressed mixed feelings about the multitool. They appreciated the interesting design and good material quality but were let down by the ineffective box-opening blade, the rarely used wire-stripping function, and the inconvenient flathead screwdriver. They also found the leverage on the hex keys to be inadequate. While they recognized the potential of the tool, they felt that the lack of a small blade and the focus on functions with limited use hinder its usability. One customer strongly advised against purchasing the KeySmart AllTul Multitool, suggesting that customers should save their money and buy something else. While some customers appreciate its functionality and build quality, others have had issues with specific tasks and feel that its promises were not fulfilled.
