antwoord: I don't think about it might be worth a try -

This says you can't immerse it in water. I don't want to use something for the first time that hasn't been thoroughly washed. Any suggestions?
antwoord: Put through some dough first that you won't eat so it can pick up any dust particles. Then use a clean dry brush to remove any flour or dough pieces. Either way your pasta will be cooked so no chance of germs there. I would be more worried using chemicals to clean including soap and antibacterial spray. I wouldn't wet the mechanism. You can also try an air duster spray and damp cloth on the outside to clean/polish is fine probably. -

antwoord: As far as I can tell, as long as you have the drive unit in the front on the mixer, normally capped with a chrome plug, it should work. -

antwoord: Never tried, however I suspect it would be too fast and tear it. Certainly wouldn’t buy one without trying it on someone else' -

antwoord: As far as I know it does and it’s marvellous we used it today. It just changes the way you make pasta how easier than cranking a handle while feeding the pasta through -

I have tried this with pasta and pastry dough and never works, even larger setting comes out in small pieces, what am i doing wrong? Help?
antwoord: I am sure you are not doing anything wrong. I have had used a number of times with good results. We use Jamie Oliver pasta recipe and kneed well. Then start on large setting for a couple of times then slowly go to lower settings. I am sure you have done all this but do hope it helps?! -

antwoord: Yes, you can buy the cutters later. You use this unit to either create lasagna sheets, or to roil out the dough for the cutters. Also, for great results, when using the unit flour it well when inserting the dough.
