Productdetails
- Explore the Silverman & Co. 19-inch Premium Backgammon Set in a Purple Case with White and Purple Points, straight from the manufacturer. This large-sized board is perfect for casual players and beginners. With GammonVillage as the owner of the Silverman & Co. brand, you can trust that you're buying directly from the source. Case: This foldable backgammon set is designed as a luggage-style case made of quality leatherette. It comes in a purple color and features durable nickel-plated latches and a sturdy handle, ensuring effortless transportation. Upon opening, it unveils a meticulously organized backgammon board with compartments for checkers and dice, keeping everything neat. The light grey smooth padded felt playing surface allows for easy checker movement, complemented by printed white and purple points, enhancing the sophistication of the game. Checkers: The set includes 30 sturdy Uria Stone checkers—15 in sleek black and 15 in white—ensuring durability and reliability for numerous games. Sized at 1 1/2 inches (40 mm) in diameter and 3/8 inch (10 mm) in thickness, these checkers are ideal for casual gameplay. Checker sizes adjust based on the chosen board dimensions, maintaining proportionality for larger boards. For instance, professional players typically opt for the largest checkers, which usually have a diameter of 1.75 inches or 44 mm. Board Design: The combination of black and white checkers on the light grey padded felt playing surface, along with the white and purple points, creates a visually appealing backgammon board and enhances the overall gaming experience. Dice: Complementing the set are two sets of dice—one white and one black—each measuring 5/8 inch (1.5 cm) in size, along with a 1-inch (2.5 cm) white doubling cube, adding sophistication to the gameplay. Cups: Included in the set are two leatherette dice cups, each standing at a height of 2 ¾ inches (approximately 5 cm). They feature a padded felt interior with trip lip design, seamlessly blending with the backgammon board's overall aesthetic. For those seeking a quality backgammon set at an affordable price, the Silverman & Co. 19-inch Premium Backgammon Set in a Purple Case with White and Purple Points is an excellent choice. This set delivers luxury without breaking the bank, catering to the needs of every player.
