This 1Mii Bluetooth receiver can emit a tone when a paired device unpair, and it will still work while charging. It must be connected to an amplifier to send music to speakers. The device is coded for 5.0 meaning multiple levels of frequencies making access to the multiple Bluetooth pre-set memory on this device more accessible. It is not possible to adjust the volume on this unit. The shutdown method is to press the power button for about 2 seconds, the red light flashes for one second and then shuts down. The range is short, and the audio quality is poor, so it should be avoided. The device has a short useful life as it will sometimes not stay paired to a smartphone. The bass comes through a bit heavier than expected. The adapter is good for old audio systems and it worked amazingly when attached to an Alesis speaker via an RCA to XLR cable. The device comes with a 3.5 in stereo plug to RCA adapter.
