ICOM Marine Two-Way Radios Editorial Review
ICOM VHF Basic Compact Black Standard M330 radio has received mixed reviews from customers. While some appreciate the easy install and owner's manual with a template, a few customers have reported issues with the volume control and shutdown, missing antennas, and missing features like the GPS coordinates function because there is no port to plug an antenna in. The disappointment toward this VHF radio is heightened due to its high price tag of $165. One customer reported a $69 restocking fee for a defective product that was returned within five days. While the warranty has not been checked yet, some customers stated they would not want to hassle with returns or replacements. As a result, some customers are shifting towards other brands for a more reliable option.
