Although it is a bit rough and has a few larger pieces of the coconut shell within it. The mulch is easy to use and once wet, it expands. However, some users found it too stringy compared to other coconut mulches whilst others thought that it cost more than it should given that it is just discarded coconut. One potential issue with this product is that it may come with weed seeds. So, if using it as ground cover, you may need to inspect it for seeds before using it.
