adj Lighting Accessories Editorial Review

**Editorial Review of American Dj Uni Pak II Single Channel Dimmer** The American Dj Uni Pak II Single Channel Dimmer has garnered a mix of admiration and caution from users in the lighting and event production space. Many customers have praised its ease of setup and reliable performance for controlling fixtures, such as hazers and Lekos, particularly in hard-to-reach areas. Users have found the unit very straightforward to install, making it a practical choice for various applications. However, the dimmer does have its downsides. A recurring issue noted by multiple users is the tendency for the device to leak power even when set to ‘zero’ output. This leakage poses a significant risk, as attaching equipment like strobes can lead to unintended triggering and flashing, reducing the overall reliability of the system. Furthermore, concerns around the included fuse being easily blown have been raised, along with a warning from customer support about not upgrading the fuse due to potential damage to the electronics. While some may appreciate the functionality it provides once operational, the dimmer’s limitations in fully powering down devices have left many users disillusioned. Despite these drawbacks, the American Dj Uni Pak II does deliver on certain aspects like ease of use and functionality for specific applications. It may suit those who prioritize straightforward lighting control, provided they are mindful of its quirks and limitations. **
