It is adjustable and has stops to prevent injuries during workouts. However, the assembly instructions are tricky and only Consist of pictures, which could use improvement. Also, the machine's footprint is huge and it took one customer 31 days to receive. Some of the parts are poorly designed and need to be modified or replaced. The Smith bar that rides the rails does not weigh much, which reduces the overall weight capacity, and the rubber plates have a bad smell. Overall, the machine is great for the price but some of the parts could be improved.
