Micro-Mark Modeling Compounds 89063 Editorial Review
**** The Micro-Mark MTP Moldable Thermoplastic Medium has elicited a wide array of responses from customers engaging in crafting, particularly in cosplay and prop-making. Many users appreciate the material's malleability once heated, with options for heating tools ranging from heat guns to blow dryers. Its responsiveness to temperature allows for intricate detailing in projects; but, as mentioned by various customers, it also requires quick handling to avoid cooling and losing shape. For beginners, working with the MTP can be a mixed bag. Some find the material easy to manipulate for smaller, detailed projects, while others struggle with its stickiness and tendency to bubble. Customers drawing comparisons to Worbla note that while MTP offers a softer feel when malleable, it becomes gooey faster and holds heat differently, which can lead to a steeper learning curve. This can lead to dissatisfaction among those expecting a more user-friendly experience akin to Worbla. Despite its challenges, several crafters have successfully utilized the material for small projects, including creating detailed weapons and costume elements, often complemented with wire or armatures for strength. Ultimately, while the product may not Consistently meet everyone's expectations, it serves a purpose for those willing to experiment and adapt techniques to fully harness its potential. **
