KNIPEX Wire Strippers 11 01 160 Editorial Review
The KNIPEX End-Type Wire Stripper (1101160) is a wire stripper that can be continuously adjusted to any wire diameter, making it easy to use without any hesitation. This wire stripper works better than many other wire strippers that have differently-sized holes, none of which ever seem to fit the wire that needs to be stripped. It works very well on small gauge wire and is better than alternatives. However, there are also some negative reviews about this product. One customer said that the quality of the product is not good and the cutting surface that is formed is diamond-shaped, which makes it difficult to fully cut the insulation. Another customer complained about the difficulty in switching between AWG12 and AWG14 wires. Overall, the KNIPEX End-Type Wire Stripper is a good product that can be helpful in working with wires, but it may not be suitable for cutting insulation on larger wires.
