The mesh over the mouth area of the mask does not have an opening, but a small straw might be able to fit through it. The mask has a zipper that can be left partially open to leave the mouth area uncovered. However, some customers have reported receiving the costume without all the included accessories, such as the shoulder pads, belt, and swords. Some have even received broken swords. The quality control of the product seems to be lacking and it is not worth the $50+ price tag for some customers.
