The boots do not have a hardened toe and have a stiffer and boxier build compared to older models from the same brand. However, the boots are comfortable and long-lasting with an added insole. Chafing is not an issue as the boots lack the extra flap of material that is present in boots with zippers on the side. Reviews show that these boots have been a favorite for many, including those who have been wearing them for almost 30 years.
